Is Pain Good For You?
Pain is a part of life |
In the journey of life, we all feel many kinds of different pains such as, physical, mental, emotional stress kind of things. Physical wounds could still be healed but the most critical things are the emotional and mental torments that are really hard to rehabilitate. But, before going further take a moment to think actually what made you the person you are today. Just go through your old memories and start counting those hard times of your life, you would be proud of them even today. It will definitely be painful somewhere on the way but when you found the good outcome, all that pain flew and glory took place over. Those painful times would definitely have changed something within you. And these changes are the starters of a new beginning of life inside you.
Physical Pain
Emotional Pain
Stress
It is a new kind of pain from the last few decades. Nowadays everybody is stressed because of their own kind of day to day inconveniences. Even little children are going through pressure and stress. Very few problems might be genuine but others are just wrong expectations to our life. Life becomes stressful when we are too much serious about every if and then in our life. If you feel you are stressed, it's time to prioritize your things and to accord your life energy to the valuable aspects of your life.
Make Your Pains Work For You!
Though it is inevitable but there are ways, to minimize the the pain and maximize the gain !
1. Do your karma best and leave the rest!
Bhagwat Geeta is one of the best self-improvement spiritual Granth, which gives us wisdom on which all could blindly rely. Also, it's said that one has the right to do his karma but not on the outcome of the karma. There is a wise logic behind this, thus to understand it thoroughly and for many other life making advices you should definitely go through the Bhagwat Geeta once in your life.
"कर्मणयेवाधिकारस्ते कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।"
2. Practice doing things consciously in your full senses. Indulge yourself completely in what you are doing.
3. You are not here for everyone else and nobody else is too. So just be quiet and mind your own business.
4. Have empathy and help others if you can but don't indulge in people's everyday life affairs. Sooner or later their thoughts are going to affect your internal chemistry.
5. Sometimes unconsciously, we only create complications for ourselves by overthinking and focusing more on painful issues of life. Remember "we become what we think". Thus, we should understand that a beautiful mind can create a beautiful life, and start focusing on value addition.

Even A New Life Starts With A Pain!
Reading so far, you would have been surely inclining towards the positive side of pain. Still, let's see one more reality that tells us that pain is part of our existence.
If you are a female reading this article, you can better relate to the context otherwise, let me know if you have ever seen a newborn baby? It's so overwhelming and adorable! Isn't it? But behind that innocent little miracle, there is immense pain of labor and the hard time of the whole pregnancy. And, if the mother starts facing other major health issues (like Blood Pressure, Gestational Diabetes, Thyroid, Skin Rashes, Insomnia, Restless Leg Syndrome, Liver Issues causing the whole body itch, Extreme Fatigue, Hormonal Issues) with a severe headache and body pain then you can never imagine of her condition. But still, she bears all this hoping for the day when she'll hold her little world in her arms.
Similarly, when the eggs break, the tiny baby birds suffer enormous pains and put massive efforts to come out of their shells. Many times they get wounded by the broken eggshells too. But once they are out, that's where life begins.
Though without pain there is no existence, it doesn't imply our existence itself is painful. The cosmic truth is that it is charismatic to be alive and feel all the beauty of this cosmos by our physical senses. But the only thing that is not understood well is, it has a real purpose!
Yes, "Pain" has a purpose, and once the purpose is solved, all kinds of pains disappear. And what is remaining is truly worth accepting and appreciating.
Pain Has a Purpose!
If there would be no pain we can harm ourselves in so many ways. Just think, haven't we done all kinds of experiments with everything where we don't feel pain, such as nails and hair. So the reality is that we make misery out of it rather than taking it as a part of our lives to become stronger and protect ourselves from disruption. So the significant point here is to understand and figure out the way of living towards the evolution of life by ourselves rather than what is being instructed us for ages and leaves us entangled in life.
Remember Mahatma Buddha, who started his spiritual journey from immense pains. He was a prince and his life was full of all kinds of luxuries and riches but he went through the peak of emotional and physical pains to quench the thirst of knowing the truth of this mundane world and thus he got enlightenment and attained Nirvana/moksha/mukti. Comfort, luxury, and riches couldn't have made him Buddha from Siddharth as pains did to him.
So what do you say now? Is Pain Good for Us or not?
I hope you intended to say Yes, and there you are, a person to lead your life with a conclusive thought! "Pain is Good !"
Embrace your pain wisely and you will soon start living a new life! Make your pains a ladder to reach the zenith. Pains make us realize the true worth of everything.
🌸Pains are good provided you learn from them and move on to a new path towards the change. Change always leads you towards a new opportunity to explore your horizons!
"Take a big pain from your life and take it too seriously to turn it into gain. All other pains of your life will be taken care of by this big one." _Mohini M Bajpai
